The mas is ideally located in the Gard between the wine regions of Languedoc-Roussillon and the Rhone Valley with easy access to major attractions in and around Provence. Situated in the tranquil countryside on the outskirts of the village of Deaux. Approximately 1.5 miles away is Vezenobres, a medieval hilltop village with several excellent restaurants. Nearby is Ales where you will find a large supermarket and additional restaurants. Uzes, designated one of France’s 50 villes d’art in 1962, is a mere 20 minute drive away. Every Saturday there is a large fresh market where you can purchase just about anything from pottery to the famous Provence linens to fresh poultry, meats, fish and produce. The market is held in and around the beautiful Place aux Herbes (town- square). A smaller local market is held on Wednesday, as well. You can spend an afternoon strolling
around the the town admiring the splendid architecture. There are excellent restaurants, quaint cafes where you can sit, relax and enjoy a cup of coffee and charming shops to explore. There is also a cinema for those who might want to see a film.
